News/North to continue serving the Beaufort region

Residents of Inuvik who rely on local news coverage in print will continue to find pertinent details about the region in a renewed publication of News/North. Effective Jan.

Residents of Inuvik who rely on local news coverage in print will continue to find pertinent details about the region in a renewed publication of News/North.

Effective Jan. 13, News/North will include dedicated stories about Beaufort Delta, while the Inuvik Drum will cease publishing as a standalone print product. Since 1988, both print publications have had overlapping circulation.

Digital storytelling about Inuvik will continue to be available on 快盈v3.com.

鈥淲e will always report on what鈥檚 going on in Inuvik and the Beaufort Delta area,鈥 快盈v3 News Service publisher Mike Bryant said.

The Inuvik Drum newspaper was first published on Jan. 6, 1966. It became part of the 快盈v3 News Service portfolio in 1988.
